Remote Detection Service

The Remote Sensing Service is responsible for techniques that allow information to be obtained about an object, surface or phenomenon through the analysis of data acquired by an instrument that is not in contact with them:
- Creation of orthophotos and 3D terrain models
- Thermographic inspections and reports
- Generation of digital terrain models and orthomosaics from unmanned aircraft flights
- Algorithm generation, processing and digital classification of images (satellite, airborne and UAS)
- Topographic surveys and mapping with DGPS and LIDAR
- Delivery of training
The Remote Detection service is also a Drone Operator, currently having three unmanned aircraft registered with the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).
Instrumental equipment
- FLIR SC660 Thermal Imaging Radiometer with GPS (640×480 pixels and range of -40 ºC to 2000 ºC)
- NEC TH7102WV thermographic radiometer (320×240 pixels and range of -40 ºC to 2000 ºC)
- Campbell Scientific CR1000X Fixed Weather Station with sensors for air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, rainfall, incident solar radiation and reflected solar radiation
- Meteodata 3008CP Portable Weather Station with sensors for temperature, pressure, wind intensity and direction and solar radiation albedo
- Testo 410-2 portable anemometer with vane probe, humidity sensor and temperature sensor.
- Testo 825-T4 dual infrared/contact probe digital thermometer with laser pointer
- 12-meter telescopic mast with manual pump
- Sistemas DGPS Trimble 5800, R7-GNSS con antena externa Zephyr e R8-GNSS
- DJI Matrice 600 RTK multirotor type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (MTOM 15 kg)
- Unmanned aircraft (UAV) DJI Matrice 200 V2 multirotor type (MTOM 6.14 kg)
- DJI Matrice 300 RTK multirotor type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAS) (MTOM 9 kg)
- RGB camera for DJI Zenmuse X5R drone (16 MP) and RGB camera for DJI Zenmuse X5S drone (20.8 MP)
- Dual thermal imaging camera (RGB/LWIR) for DJI Zenmuse XT2 drone (640×512 pixels and range of -40 ºC to 550 ºC)
- Trimble SX10 terrestrial LiDAR (laser scanner, total station, photogrammetric station)
- VNIR Hyperspectral Camera 500-900 nm (1000 hyperspectral bands)
