CACTI’s objective is the acquisition, establishment and centralized use of large scientific equipment with the aim of providing scientific and technological support to both members of the University Community and Public Research Organizations (OPIs), at national and international levels, and private entities in our surroundings.

CACTI covers the most important services in scientific research: Structural Determination, Proteomics and Xenomics, Nanotechnology and Surface Analysis, Electron Microscopy, Sustainable Development and Food Security (on the Vigo and Ourense Campuses), Remote Detection, Mechanized Workshop and SATYCEL technical assistance and calibration service. Therefore, CACTI, in its two headquarters in Vigo and Ourense, is configured as a center equipped with a high level of research infrastructure without comparison in our geographic surroundings.
